7th General Assembly of European Youth Press: Armenia full member of EYP

28-29th April, 2007, DUE, EYP Hungarian member organization, hosted the 7th GA of European Youth Press.

This was the seventh General Assembly in the history of the organisation. The focus of the General Assembly was to start up concrete strategy planning. The participants of the assembly discussed aims, organisation and future activities for the organisation which lead to a lot of plans and ideas for the organisation to work further with during the year.

The General Assembly decided to include Spain and Armenia as full members. The participants were: he Swedish youth press- Ung Media, the German youth press-JPD, the Hungarian youth press-DUE, the Swiss youth press, the Austrian youth press, YN Press from Russia, "Manana" Youth Educational-Cultural Center from Armenia, France, the Centre for young journalists in Moldova, the Association of Students in Journalism and Communication Studies from Romania and representatives from the SPINE network and upcoming youth press in Croatia.

Budapest also became a meeting place for the working group of Youthphotos platform. The results can be traced at: www.youthphotos.eu David Babayan, a young photojournalist from "Manana" center reprsented Armenia at this great meeting.
